- hold the shell open if you can or use a spoon or fingers to open it. put cottage cheese mix into the shell then sprinkle it with a touch of parmesan and then top it off with mozzarella cheese making sure they are inside of the shell. place the shell in the dish. repeat until the casserole dish is full. they may be placed touching each other
- after the casserole dish is full you can sprinkle extra seasoning ie: basil , italian seasoning or even extra cheese
- spoon sauce over top of these . cover and bake at about 350 for 20 to 30 minutes. if you added egg you might want to cook longer.
- remove the dish from the oven. uncover. add mozzarella cheese on top. bake uncovered until the cheese is melted.
- serve and enjoy!
