- Make ready 4 cup water
- Prepare 1/2 tsp salt

- Prepare 1/4 cup corn flour
- Take 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

- Get For Manchurian sauce–
- Get 4 tsp oil
- Prepare 2 clove garlic finely chopped
- Get 1 green chilli slit
- Make ready 1/4 onion finely chopped
- Take 1/4 cup spring onion finely chopped
- Take 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- Make ready 1 tsp red chilli sauce
- Make ready 2 tsp vinegar
- Make ready 2 tsp soya sauce
- Get 1/4 tsp black pepper crushed
- Prepare 1/4 tsp salt
- Get For corn flour slurry–
- Take 1 tsp corn flour
- Take 1/4 cup water
Steps to make Gobhi Manchurian:
- Firstly, in a large vessel take 4 cup water and get to a boil adding ½ tsp salt.
- Once the water comes to a boil add 20 florets gobi. Boil for 2 minutes to blanch gobi. do not overcook gobi.
- Drain off the water and pour 1 cup of ice cold water to stop cooking. keep aside.
- Now prepare batter by taking ¾ cup maida and ¼ cup corn flour.
- Also add ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp ginger garlic paste and ¼ tsp salt.
- Prepare a lump free smooth batter adding ½ cup water.
- Add in blanched gobi and dip completely.
- Further, deep fry gobhi in hot oil for few minutes and take out the gobhi from oil before they turn brown, after that heat oil on high flame and fry the gobhi second time for more crispness.
- Stir in between and fry till they turn golden brown.
- Finally, drain off the gobi over a paper napkin to remove excess oil. keep aside.
- Method of gobhi Manchurian– - Firstly, in a large kadai or wok heat 4 tsp oil and saute 2 clove garlic and 1 green chilli on high flame.
- Also, saute ¼ onion and 2 tbsp spring onion on high flame. Add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp red chilli sauce, 2 tsp vinegar, 2 tsp soy sauce, ¼ tsp pepper and ¼ tsp salt.
- Mix well and saute for a minute. Add cornflour slurry. Give a good mix until the gravy slightly thickens and turns translucent.
- Additionally, add fried gobi. Mix gently making sure the sauce has coated well uniformly.
- Finally, transfer gobi manchurian to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped spring onions green. serve with fried rice.
