In Hindi, Kurkuri means Crisp and Bhindi is Okra. This Okra Fry recipe is an easy snack like recipe made with Bhindi (Lady Finger). It is great as a side dish with the combination of dal-rice, sambar-rice, curd-rice or even with plain chapatis or parathas. Karari Bhindi's (okra) is a recipe of Ladies fingers filled with a stffing of grate coconut mixed with various spices and condiments andfried crispy.

The ingredients needed to make Karari bhindi:
- Take 300 gm bhindi(ladyfinger)
- Prepare To taste salt
- Prepare as needed oil for frying
- Make ready 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 2 tbsp Besan /gram flour
- Get 4 tbsp rice flour
To bake Kurkuri Bhindi in an airfryer- Arrange the coated bhindi slices in a single layer in the airfryer insert. Flip them halfway through the cooking with tongs. This will ensure that the bhindi becomes kurkuri evenly and turns perfectly golden. Add the bhindi to this and toss with your hands till the paste coats the bhindi.
Steps to make Karari bhindi:
- First cut the bhindi in four vertical slices. - - remove the seeds from it. (don't clean it fully)
- Add one portion besan flour and two portion of rice flour.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, garlic powder to it. - mix gently and keep it for 5 min.
- Take a frying pan add oil to it. - - fry the bhindi in small portions. keep on moving it when you put in to fry. take it out when it srinks and colour is bit darker.
- Let it cool down for 1 min and it's ready to serve crispy/karari bhindi
This will ensure that the bhindi becomes kurkuri evenly and turns perfectly golden. Add the bhindi to this and toss with your hands till the paste coats the bhindi. Line one or two baking trays with aluminium foil and spread all the bhindi out on the trays. Like you guys love the bhindi masala and the bharwa bhindi. I think okra (or bhindi as well it in Hindi) tastes fantastic with Indian spices.
