When it is time to cook, heat the ghee in a pressure cooker, add the jeera (cumin seeds) and when they begin to splutter add the chopped onions and ginger. The consistency of daliya khichdi is very soft which makes it easy for kids to swallow and is also a Dalia khichdi is high in nutrition as broken wheat and pulses make it rich in protein, fiber and iron. - Add boiled daliya add dal into the mixture stir it for 2 mins.
- Then add rice to the mixture and mix them together. Then add water as required for consistency.
- If required add salt, then add raw mango, coriander leaves mix them cook it for 2 min then turn off the gas. Garnish it with coriander leaves, onion and grated panner serve it with buttermilk(chas)
