- Pre heat oven at 180 deg C. Grease 9 × 5 inch pan
- In a large bowl, take the butter and sugar and beat until its light and fluffy
- Add the eggs, one at a time, along with vanilla and beat well
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt in anoda bowl
- Add the sifted flour and start mixing and add the milk. Beat lightly until its all combined. Do not over beat the batter
- Transfer the batter to the pan and bake in the preheated oven fr arnd 45 to 55 mins depending on ur oven or until toothpick inserted comes out clean
- Once done,remove frm oven and let cool for 15 mins and then remove from the pan
- Done
