- Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk to the creamed mixture. Stir until blended.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared tin.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes. Stick a wooden skewer in the middle to see if its done, if skewer comes out clean its cooked through.
- Let it cool in pan for 20 minutes before trying to remove it.
- Transfer to a cooling rack or plate when cooled slightly.
- When its completely cooled sift powdered sugar over the top of the cake.
